XEnergy On Thursday, January 29th, preliminary works will begin within the project "Regional Program for Energy Efficiency in Transmission – Component II: Montenegrin Coast, Luštica Region Development", LOT 2.
LOT 2 includes the installation of approximately 10.415 km of underground double 110 kV cables, on the route from the new 110/35 kV GIS substation Radovići to pole no. 170, as well as connection to the existing 110 kV overhead transmission line Lastva–Tivat, using the line-in–line-out (LILO) configuration.
The project is being implemented for the investor Crnogorski elektroprenosni sistem a.d. (CGES), with the financial support of KfW Entwicklungsbank, while the implementation is supervised by GOPA Tech GmbH.
Preliminary works include the preparation of the construction site, additional geodetic and topographic surveys, organization of temporary installations, earth and concrete works, as well as all activities defined by the approved project and E&S documentation.
A multidisciplinary team of experienced engineers has been engaged in the project, with a focus on compliance with all technical, regulatory and contractual requirements, as well as health, safety and environmental standards. The works are carried out in accordance with applicable legislation, international standards and approved plans. This project represents an important step in strengthening the reliability of the electricity transmission network on the Montenegrin coast and improving the overall energy stability of the system.
