Slavoljub Popadić

Slavoljub Popadić is one of the most experienced leaders in the field of energy and digital transformation in Montenegro and the region. With more than 30 years of professional experience, he has successfully led large systems and organizations in the energy, telecommunications, industrial manufacturing and ICT sectors.
With a degree in Electrical Engineering, he continued his training at the London Business School through the Deutsche Telekom Executive Management program, focused on strategic leadership and corporate governance.
During his career, he held executive positions in companies such as Crnogorski Telekom (CEO, 2006–2014), Rudnik uglja Pljevlja (CEO, 2014–2021), Internet Montenegro and Mermer Danilovgrad. Currently serving as the company's CEO XEnergy and co-founder of GGEN, he leads the development of infrastructure projects in the field of sustainable energy and energy efficiency, in cooperation with international partners and investors.
He is also active in the field of organizational transformation as a long-term associate of Adizes Southeast Europe. He also served as President of the Assembly of the Association of Managers of Montenegro and Vice-President of the Union of Employers for Development and Human Resources.
His vision is focused on accelerating the energy transition and raising corporate governance standards in the Western Balkans and Southeast Europe.
