Improvement of ski infrastructure on Zagreb's Red Slope
The Sljeme ski resort, a symbol of winter sports near the Croatian capital, will soon get a new foldable four-seater cable car on the popular Red Descent. The new installation will replace the dilapidated three-seater cable car from 1987 and significantly improve the functionality and capacity of the ski resort.
With a length of 748 meters and a vertical ascent of 297 meters, the new cable car is designed to transport up to 2,000 skiers per hour. This allows for faster and more efficient transport of users, reducing waiting times and improving the experience of being on the track.
This modernization is part of a broader plan to improve the ski infrastructure of Sljeme, which aims to increase the competitiveness of ski resorts, improve safety and raise the quality of service for all visitors – from recreational to professional competitors.
The project is carried out by the company XElement d.o.o., Sarajevo, Representative Office Croatia, Member XE Group.
