A modern sports facility in the heart of Durmitor

With the construction of a new sports hall, Žabljak received a modern multipurpose sports infrastructure in 2022, fully adapted to the needs of the local community and the growing number of visitors. The project was implemented with the support of international development assistance and co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia, within the framework of cooperation aimed at sustainable development and improvement of public infrastructure in the northern region of Montenegro.

Company XEnergy d.o.o.. (then New Volvox), a member of the XE Group, was in charge of the entire process – from the conceptual design to the final construction works, applying the "turnkey" principle.

The sports hall has capacities for several sports, locker rooms, technical rooms and an auditorium, and meets all technical and functional standards necessary for the organization of professional competitions and recreational activities.

This facility is today the center of sports and social life of Zabljak, contributing to the development of tourism, strengthening sports capacities and a healthier lifestyle of the local population.
