Modernization and optimization of the cable car infrastructure of one of the leading ski resorts in BiH
As part of strategic efforts to improve the quality of service and increase the capacity of the Bjelašnica ski resort, a project was implemented to relocate the existing four-seater fixed cable car to a new route – the former lift Y. This technically complex intervention enabled better integration of infrastructure within the ski center, as well as improved flow and safety of users.
Technical characteristics of the cable car:
- Type: Four-seater fixed cable car
- Route length: 795.2 meters
- Vertical ascent: 313.7 meters
- Capacity: 800 skiers per hour
By relocating the cable car to a more efficient route, the project has brought a number of concrete benefits – waiting times have been shortened, the connection of the slopes has been improved and better management of ski flows has been enabled. The new configuration not only increases the safety and comfort of users, but also contributes to the promotion of Bjelašnica as a modern and sustainable winter destination.
