Science Technology Park of Montenegro: Home for Innovation and Startups

In July 2024, Montenegro received the first centralized center for technological development and innovation – the Science Technology Park of Montenegro (STP CG). The project, carried out by the company XEnergy d.o.o., members XE It is an important step towards strengthening the domestic innovation infrastructure and creating a favorable environment for start-ups, technology companies and research projects.

STP CG covers an area of 14,000 square meters, with modern workspaces, laboratories, multifunctional halls and common use areas. It is designed to be a center of knowledge and technology transfer, with the aim of encouraging cooperation between scientific research institutions and the economy.

The park offers support to companies in the field of information technology, energy, biotechnology, engineering and other high-tech sectors, with an emphasis on sustainable development and digital transformation. In addition to infrastructure conditions, mentoring programs, access to investors, support in the commercialization of innovations and internationalization of business are also available to beneficiaries.

Within the framework of strategic plans, STP CG has the task of contributing to the development of the knowledge-based economy, retaining young talents and raising the competitiveness of domestic companies.

With the implementation of this project, Montenegro is positioning itself as an increasingly attractive environment for research and development in the Western Balkans.
